No, we do not charge a call-out or service fee for work during normal opening hours. We have a minimum of one-hour charge for all jobs.

We work 7:00 am – 4:30 pm at normal hourly rates. Our phones are monitored for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We do, however, have after-hours service fees for emergency call-outs outside of normal hours. These fees are applied to cover the cost of overtime payments made to our employees.

No. Our highly trained admin team will collect all your details and organise everything in a way that suits you and your lifestyle.

2. Emergency Plumbing

Burst pipes, severe leaks, sewage backups, gas leaks, and hot water system failures are all considered emergencies that require immediate attention to prevent further damage.

If possible, turn off your main water supply and, in the case of a gas leak, turn off the gas valve. Then, wait for our emergency plumber to assess and address the situation.

A sudden spike in your water bill may indicate a hidden leak. Contact us for a professional inspection to locate and repair any leaks in your system.

3. Hot Water Systems

Signs include inconsistent water temperature, strange noises from the system, visible rust, or if your unit is over 10–15 years old. If you experience any of these issues, contact us for an assessment.

4. Blocked Drains

Common signs include slow draining sinks or showers, unpleasant odours, gurgling sounds in your pipes, and water backing up in sinks, showers, or toilets.

Common causes include a build-up of grease, soap residue, hair, foreign objects, and tree roots infiltrating the pipes. Proper disposal and regular maintenance can help prevent these issues.

Hydro-jetting uses a high-pressure stream of water to break apart and wash away blockages. It’s effective for clearing grease, debris, and tree roots from your pipes without causing damage.

A CCTV drain inspection allows us to see the inside of your pipes and accurately identify the location and cause of the blockage, making the clearing process faster and more effective.

5. Renovations

Absolutely. We frequently work alongside builders, electricians, and other trades to ensure your renovation project runs smoothly and stays on schedule.

Yes. A licensed plumber is needed for all plumbing modifications, installations, and reconfigurations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with Australian regulations.

6. Leak Detection

Yes. We can use non-invasive equipment, such as acoustic listening devices and thermal imaging, to locate leaks accurately without causing damage to your property. Occasionally, invasive works are required to accurately locate a leak.

A hidden leak can waste hundreds of litres of water per day, significantly increasing your water bill. Early detection is key to preventing unnecessary costs.

Absolutely. We provide leak detection for both residential and commercial properties, helping businesses minimise downtime and avoid costly water damage.

7. Backflow

Backflow occurs when contaminated water flows back into the clean water supply, usually due to changes in water pressure. This can introduce harmful substances into your drinking water, posing a serious health risk.

By law, backflow prevention devices must be tested annually to ensure they are functioning properly and keeping your water supply safe.

Yes. After completing the testing, we handle all compliance documentation, including completing and lodging Form 9 with the local council and QBCC.

If your device fails the test, we will discuss repair or replacement options with you to ensure your water supply remains protected.
